I always asked myself, if I was born very rich, would I be this spoiled fag with no selfesteem?
mmm, probably yes, I think I wouldn't know what values are or wouldn't care about it.

But on the other hand, becoming rich as you grow older must be more satisfying.
And I think you would know who your real friends are, also there would be more appreciation of life.

So, my question to you guys is, would you like have been born rich or would you choose for the "slower" way to money?

Keep in mind though, being born rich would allow you to buy a lot of cars, or maybe you wouldn't even like cars, you would just buy them to show of.

I would like to know our opinons guys, I'm convinced that a lot of you think or fantasies about this subject.

Hard question... I'd really like to be a rich kid who gets everything he wants, but then I'd probably be a spoiled prick who didn't know how to do anything on my own... So, I want to be the type that gets rich after hard work, and finally, after many years, I get to by my first Ferrari... And after five more years I have a Enzo, F50, F40, CS, McLaren F1, Koeningsegg, 911 GT3 RS, M3, classic cars and a HUGE limo to transport all my hoes... :D

id rather become rich, therefore i would have accomplished it myself. I live around wayyyyyyyyyyyy to many rich kids, their parents buy them brand new cars for graduating. It makes me angry, but it makes me strive to work harder.

i think i all depends on the education, u have to be educated on what getting money means and how ur family got the money, then even if ur spoiled u know what does everything u have has been adquiered and u appreciate it...

umm IMO becoming rich slowly is much better then being rich from child hood ...

every parent isnt sucessfull in making their child a good person ... thast cuz even if yer getting good edu at home u'll get 1000 % worst stuff in the real world ... so being rough and tough from the beggining is much better ... i wish i was rich im not so i gotta live with it ....

bmagni ... are ya rich .... :) .. \/

That'd only happen if you were weak of mind I think. I have a couple rich friends who understand the value of hard work and their parents money doesn't make them jaded at all.

To answer your question though, since I'm not rich I don't mind putting in the work now so that one day I'll be rich. But having rich parents would be nice... If this was the case I'd own a 360 I think.

I'd rather earn it. That way you have made your life successfull and I'm sure you would have more appreciation for what you have.

i believe in hard work, for example my familiy is not rich, i rather say that they are hard workers, and all of the money they have earned has been doing hard work, the only thing i may envy of spoiled fags are the contacts and shit but nothing else

well... come october, i may have thousands of orders for energy saving devices :)
i think it will be money well earned... god im glad im in on the ground floor.

i was born middle class, and i have a great many upper class aspirations, but what i was born of will always carry me, as well as my value system.

i dont know how life could be if it had been the other way around

I would much rather become rich through hard work than be born into wealth. The way I think about it is this: how boring and how pathetic is it if you dont work your whole life and depend on your parent's wealth your whole life (i.e the Hilton sisters). How can you feel good about yourself?? If you have worked hard to become rich no one can take that away from you.

, the only thing i may envy of spoiled fags are the contacts and shit but nothing else

This is the truth and reality of "it is not what you know, but who you know"

Networking is more important in the recipe for success than just plain hardwork or even "the greatest idea" or "the greatest product" etc.

You are askin a very controversial subject here...there are old rich families and new rich families, i personally find it depending on the environment around the person while growing up and how the parents teach the kids...i myself don't think that my family and i are rich because but other people do...when i was young, i was so spoiled, but at the same time my parents had to work really hard to get the mulas, so they have and still constantly teach me how hard money comes by...i personally would like to be born rich because of all the different advantages(education, contacts, etc.), but make my own money as i grow up, and when i do get rich, in return i will take care of my parents with what i've got...

If I was truly rich all I'd spend my money on is cars and gas, and the rest I would just donate to charity and I wouldn't buy food, a house, hookers, drugs, friends, prostitutes and exams

But I would have a dog and not a dog that I bought one of those stray dogs with rabies, and I wouldn't need prostitutes cuz I could pick up sluts, I wouldn't need food because the sluts would feed me their crackers and when I need water I could goto a restaurant and ask for water and nothing else. I wouldn't need drugs cuz I would have NOS in my cars and I would just use that when I have a headache (instead of tylenol stupid) I could live in my car cuz I would have cool cars that would let me sleep with it. I am not gay so my car would be wearing clothes while we're sleeping together. O ya and my dog would be a talking dog cuz talking dogs are cool

Get rich as I get older. But not too old. Wouldn't be worth it IMO to have a lot of money and no where to put it except prune juice and viagra. Speaking of which, that is why I am going with Junk2006 said about the hookers; feed you and get you laid, who would want more than that? Sleep in a Lambo, get laid in a hotel, and get Animal crackers.

How you end up depends on how your parents raise you. I have friends that grew up rich that are great people. And I have poor friends(and rich too) that are spoiled rotton. I am going the route of trying to make it to rich myself...(got a long way to go). That being said I wouldnt be adverse to being born like that as long as my parents didnt change how they raised me.. The issue comes in when the parents give them everything. For example, Im sorry but a 16 year old doesnt need a viper to drive along in(or a vette, or anything else expensive).

yeah whatever,
if i was born rich, i wouldnt necessarily be like the pricks i know from around atlanta. its up to your parents and how they raise you. so obvisously id love to have cheese to do whatever i want and not have to worry about bouncing my account when buying a pack of cigs. however, hard work and being poor makes you want to accomplish something, ive learned that since ive been in college. i dont want to be making 10 bucks an hour for the rest of my life.

so how about, be born poor, build wealth, and inherit wealth from elders once you were old enough to understand it????

the bottom line is, who doesn't want to be rich? i don't mind being born rich. but it is definitely more satisfying in building you own fortune. it feels great to overcome all the hurdles and obstacles and then finally achieving your goals.

in my opinion, if you get to born rich, you will enjoy so much more your life, because since your childhood you will be able to get everything you want, and in the other side you will have too much more chances do be spoilt, of course, it will depend of your family education.

I would prefer so far to born rich because i also live in a very good area where there´s some guys who have ferraris, and they are one about 23 years old and the other is about 34 yrs old, and when i look to them passing by with their cars i think into myself, oh what the fuck i won´t have the chance to get that car as early as he got. It´s not easy and contrariwise, it´s tooo difficult to get a F355 Berlinneta GTS and a Porsche Boxster S with 23 yrs old when u didn´t born rich.

And i would not even be so happy with 40, 45 yrs old and having a ferrari instead of being 20, 25 yrs old and have a ferrari and a porsche, as is my sittuation now, because if i want to have those machines, i would have to work too hard, and, when i think i would get them only with 39, 44 yrs, i think that i wouldn´t enjoy these cars as i would enjoy them now, i mean, i would not have THAT desire to go as fast as i can, to make some trackdays, so, i think too much before start to work all my life as i was racing insane to get some money and don´t enjoy my life and even achieve my goals instead of enjoy it and staying know that i won´t ge them under my 30 yrs... :(

I recently read an article that followed the lives of recent lottery winners. Those who no longer had to work for their money had much worse lives than those that work for a living. So based on this I would want to make my money the slow way and become rich. That way I always know what it took to get where I am at. Just my thoughts.

humm it´s a very hard question...it just depends how you will spend your money if you win lottery. If you try to think about what you are spending, control it, save some, it would be better....
but in my opinion i would prefer to born rich instead of working all the life.

Well...it's a tough question...

I dunno...I might just stick with the 'slower' side. Some 'born-rich' kids I have around are just...dumb. Not to be so negative on them, but they just don't have the insights to looking at the world. They just...live in a fantasy. They think all of their chores should be done by their maids/butlers...and just think of money as being pieces of papers. I want to experience the world and be rich, not live in a fantasy.

Being new rich makes you see life how really is, lets you se all the effort and sacrifice you had to make to b in a high status, I think people that are born rich, they never get out of their bubble, and they never see whats real life, and how people sometimes suffer to get food to their table, thats what I think, I live in a Country with really really rich people, and with really really poor people, and you can see how poor people are always nice to you and they make a lot of effort, meanwhile I see in my social circle that my friends sometimes dont realize what really life means, they are never happy, they want more money, thank god my father always teached me money isnt everything in life, its better being poor and happy, that being rich and sad...
