I'm thinking about building a sim racing setup over the break, and was wondering if anybody has attempted something similar. I'm going to make something basic, no frills, just with appropiate dimensions and ergonomic utility (going to use dimensions from 350Z brochure).

Only expensive part is going to be the buying a racing seat, I'm gonna pick up a cheap brand for the time being. Planning to use pine wood for ease of working and cost. I've got the Logitech Momo Force at the moment, but going to buy the Logitech GT4 wheel when GT4 is released. Hopefully I can make it the right size so moving it around the house is not a pain.

These guys are on the other extreme:

If anyone has pics of an attempted or complete project could you please post them here, along with any thoughts. Thanks.

there were a bunch posted recently just try looking around and I know that Yoshi from Techtv made byfar the best one I've ever seen with built in screens and sound system etc... so a bit more than I guess you want to attempt to do.
