In order to transfer our videos, we usually use our messenger programs. I would like to know which one is the most popular.
Please choose the one you use the most and post the ones you have in your computer. You can post comment on why you preferred the one you're using.
Thank you very much.

I use AIM only. I don't have ICQ. I do have MSN, but I fricken hat eit. I was tired of getting popups telling me I could buy a proram that would stop the popups. So instead, i disabled it.

I use msn for chatting and Icq for transfers of big files (you can resume with it and it's more stable).
I use all of them, but my fav and the one I never close, is AIM :)

AIM. Its simple and fun, and as complex as you want it to be.
Why just use one program at once when you can use all messengers at once! Download Trillian at http://www.ceruleanstudios.com
You can have AIM, IRC, MSN, Yahoo and ICQ all running at once!

Only a Tweaked MSN for me... I found a tiny little file that bitchslaps microslofps ass and makes MSN do the bizzness. It now will transfer as fast as your connection can take and all the ad bullshit is gone plus you can have 6 differnt names and cycle through them manualy or have it do it on a timer.... good for fucking with peeps... can't wait to try it on Beav and Jabba !!! LMAO I have 6 totally wacked out ID's and there funny as hell !!! :P :P :P :P
It also has a bunch of features I havent tried yet.... plus custom avatars, sounds and shit very cool :P :P

Nope.... this was just released by a guy I know, it doesn't make anything much differnt for the user, its the people you chat with that get the effect... as your talking my name will change with each message I send to you (refresh) LOL Ive used it off and on and find its really good, also has video confrencing built in and will log to file all chat sessions dam the list goes on and on.... most of the options are added to the tool menu if you didnt open it you wouldnt know it was any differnt.

yes thats what I meant..."its great until your VICTIM gets it as well" meaning that you then have to put up with them changing their name and having to watch all their shit they are sending to you as you have been to them...
theres a few of these around now...some of the more useful features I have seen as well include being able to send a much longer message and the all important file resume for failed transfers...

Im sporting ICQ as my favorite... i like the good old non-annoying messages that blink... im not all that big on scrolling chat programs although I have Trillian (dont use it), Y!, MSN and AIM. The thing i like about ICQ is its traditional IMing at its best.. not IRCing like MSN etc. With ICQ you can be slack without being rude :) The Y! protocol is interesting if anyone codes :?: interesting with its challenge string authentication

I use ICQ to transfer files, there's the resume function and it's very useful.
I also have MSN and I use it sometimes...now I'll tri AIM and then install Trillian

Trillian my good man. It basically combines the most popular message services into one. When you log into Trillian, you simultaneously log into each account you have set up, using your existing account info. Been using it for a long while and I can't complain.
Here is the link. XyKo threw it up on the first page, I guess you missed it.

using msn and icq on trillian. a word of warning since switching to 2.0 i've been missing a lot of msn msg, and a lesser number of icq msgs. so if u're thinking of switching over use 1.0 or the free one 0.75 or something

I use MSN mainly because its what all my friends have. You forgot to include YIM (although it sucks lol). Had ICQ a while back, was ok but no-one used it so I deleted it. AIM just pisses me off.

Trillian still works for me, it's great and light... I wish I could find a messenger that manage to send and receive files with a firewall... 0X
