I dunno if it was a gallant... looked like an EVO 3 or something, deffinitely 4wd which u cant get on the gallant.

the older ones you could supposedly, they had VR-4 model which had a twin turbo V6 if im not mistaken and AWD. they are pretty rare i think but there are some around.

The Galant VR-4's had the same engine that are in the turbo Eclipses. They had a turbocharged Inline 4. It was the 3000GT VR-4 that had a TT V6.

To put it all together, in 1991 and 1992, there was a Galant VR-4, which had the 4G motor, which is the single turbo motor and it was also AWD with 4-wheel steering.

now, reading this... my guess is that the guy probably took the galant vr4, and put an evo bodykit on it, cuz it did have the trademark EVO ironing board spoiler on it.
