The prices of Girard-Perregaux are not so much based on the materials used, but are more related to how long it takes to build it. Given it's price it must be quite a complex watch to build.

I'd never consider cancelling the order of a 360CS to buy a watch. Moreover, I'd never buy a watch for this price, regardless how much money I'd have.

Well previous watch I had costs about 250 EUR (Festina), present on my wrist costs 3 EUR. And the most prestigeus watch I have read about was made by some swiss company, don't really remember the name and it was VERY SIMPLE watch (it was MECHANICAL, it ONLY displayed time (hrs and minutes, no secs). The body was gold and leather. looked VERY classic... and was priced about 195 000 EUR. Only 200 of them was made as this company celebrated its 300th anniversasy..

I think the last watch that GP and ferrari contributed on - the 360 challenge watch was about $10,000. This is a major price hike.

I was aiming on Tag but when I discovered that Kimi Räikkönen is advertising it then SORRY... An I always have admired such brand as Movado. Movado SE is kinda cool, classy, beautiful.. costs about 1500 EUR.. too much for me in nearest years i'm afraid

Its the matter of education and I don't know... In estonia we have some richest persons with estimated net worth of about 80 million USD. And most of them wear a watch that costs about 300 -500 USD.. And one guy drove till 2001 with 1993 Nissan Maxima. He said that it's a good car and he does not need anithing more.. This guy is 70 years old. however his 55 years old business associate bought grey F 550 about 3 years ago.. :)

I honestly believe that if i had 100 million £, most expencve waths I'd buy would cost about 2-3 000 EUR (the movado SE that I pointed out earlier.). most expencive car would be probably an Enzo (though there's nothing to do with this car in Estonia..).
