yes K&N's work very well as I'm sure everyone here knows already but their full intake kits are much more effective since they turn them all into conical intakes.

mmm.. that depends..

If the conical filter remains seperated from the engine bay then yes. If it is designed like some idiots where it goes from a box seperate from the engine bay to actually in the engine bay.. no.

Make sure if you go that route you do it right.

I have put this filter because my car is a Diesel and a conical filter work much better in a petrol car.
I´m very happy with the aceleration give´s more power at 3000 rpm´s.

i always find adding a K&N filter improves the engine noise too, a bit more aggressive.

this reminds me...i havne't put one of these on my Celica yet...

do you know if they make air filter kits, like the whole things not just the filter for S4's?

Ya I already looked there and didn't find anything other then just an air filter. I thought there would be some kit that I could put in. If anyone knows of a new type of air kit that I could put in, could you tell me? I have been looking for one about a week now and didn't find anything. I thought someone would know of a downlow website that would have one. Thanks anyways racer F50. I put on one of those K&N air filter kits on my family's 2002 explorer and it kicks ass. I can tell an improvment. Ever since then, Ive been looking for something similar to that for my 2000 S4.

It seems that ni ine makes a kit for the Audi S4 TT only replacement filters, you can go to a reputable shop near you and have one custom made specific to your car.

ya, I bet I could but it seems like it would be a little costly. I saw a kid on Audiworld make his own ...so Im kinda thinking about doing that. We'll see. Thanks for the idea

It won't be much more than buying one since they are pretty pricey for anything not ricey anyway.
