View Full Version : What do you use to block those annoying messenger ads?

I have tried several programs like adblocker and ad muncher but those annoying things still pop up. If you dont know what I am talking about they have a little message and an "OK" button along with a button on the upper right hand corner to "X" it out.

LOL i had alot of those. Here's what you do.

If you're using window XP, go to control panel>network connections>all the internet right click on properties>on the top bar, select protect my computer with firewall.

After that you'll never see them again, unless you turn off winxp firewall.

hrm you could try stopzilla, it seems to block out most the ads for me.

I use Pop-Up Stopper. It works most of the time and it's free.

even though you have to pay for it, Ad-Subtract is the best product i've ever used. No popups for ANYTHING, and its only like 20 bucks. Worth it, i think.

I use a free program called popstopper funnily enough...seems to work and the price is right...
