Seems I'm not the only one who missed a Top Gear episode. It takes 20 hours to download! Thanks anyway for the opportunity toprpm. Maybe it would be a good idea to define a max number of visitors at a time. This way not everyone will get in right away, but when one gets in after a few attempts, one will be able to download a bit faster. I also don't like the idea that I would download nearly everything for 19 hours and then find you shutting down your pc when you're off to bed :( See what I mean?

Does anyone know a sort of manual on the net for setting up ftp servers on a pc? I'd like to try it.

don't worry a bout the pc ...now it's have been 2 weeks and 4 days on ...
and i don't switch it off only for one houre a month ... :lol:

just type it in the internet explorer ..then it will ask for a user name and password ..so whats left is to drag the file you want .ok .

GIves me a " u not authorised access to this ftp thingy, so we gonna end it" something like that.

Any ideas? do I need to type passwords into address line? :roll:

i can get the ftp to work, but it's soooo slow...the file progress thing told me that it was goint to take like 8+ hours to download one of the top gear videos and i have a super fast connection (not sure exactly how fast, but it's fast) :(

thats what i'm trying to solev ..but i don't know what could be the problem .

i do have 1MB cable ..and it's fast ..but in this ftp server i use ..it's slow ....very slow ...so if anyone do have a solution or a ftp software that he used and it's fast ..please help ......

i'm back guys ..sorry ..but the fto isn't working ..i'm working on it . and i upgraded my line to 2MB ... so i won't hear jabba complane a bout slow line ...eheh...also i will be having a good news soooon for jabba ...so wait for it ....... :mrgreen:
