Saturday I was at the NAMAC Car model fair in Houten, the Netherlands. I thought you guys might be interested. It's the largest of its kind in Europe, approximately 4,000 people attend each time and the added length of all display tables equals about a kilometre. The model cars for sale (or swap) range from handbuilt BBRs to old Dinky toys. You can also find models of trucks, shovels and cranes. Scales go from 1/87 to 1/12 and everything in between. Here are some shots to give an impression.

The people there are always very friendly and the atmosphere is good. There are not only visitors from my country, I have also heard English, French, German and even Italian. The price level is good, especially when you go round and compare them. Even in one hall you can find differences, so you can imagine how the difference is with store prices. There are always bargains to find. Damn shame I'm practically broke, because I saw lots of great stuff. Still, I had a great time.
And it got even better that day, because I also visited the Dutch Ferrari and Aston Martin distributor. Thread with pictures of that coming up later....
