Here are some pics of Jon Shirley's car collection I found. Shirley is one of the founders of Microsoft and lives in the Seattle area close to where I live. I have seen his NART spyder and GTO up close and they are just spectacular!

I just love that 250, I heard that a year ago he took it to a rally somewhere in Europe with all of the remaining GTO's and as he was driving down a country road, a local in a tractor ran into the side of it! I bet the local crapped his pants when he saw the damage estimate!!

I saw a picture of that, but didn't know that the car was Jon Shirley's. It happened at the 40th anniversary of the GTO. All remaining GTOs were present at Mas du Clos of Pierre Bardinon. And they were driven as well. Imagine that, a parade of 250/330 GTOs... Some crappy driver in a Ford Fiesta didn't look careful enough and ran into the GTO, damaging it pretty extensively. I think the insurance company that was dragged into this couldn't believe the bill either.

This Jon Shirley has got a great collection! And now I know where the 375 MM is... :D
