Yes I remember the Saleen but no C43 and you just talked about it in the first post ;)
As for the discussion about the C55, no problem, but well, I think the faster way is to go to your Merc dealership and ask for dates there :)

well you know how sales ppl are they want to sell whats on the lot currently and therefore they are absolutley no help... the think is the saleen isa great car but all in all you need something automatic in southern cali... i like the e class my parents have a 04 e500 which is great but im only 22 and it looks like a older person car... so again any other sporty sedans i should be looking at around that price

also i have been hearing wispers of a v8 m3 to be released within the next year??? heard anything about it can anyone confirm??

The new C does not look a whole lot different than the old one, the steering wheel is alot different so I assume that the interior is all new? Anyone know for sure.

I think enough is enough, and the 5.5 liter V-8 is too much for the C-Class.

well thats what we said when we got the c43 but its was a fun little car, i remember the second month we had the car i took it for a spin and all you could see at the gov limit it the freeway signs almost becoming one i mean its fing fast. but then agian it was when it had the micheline mx3 on it after those tires wore out and the production stopped the car was just never the same again

Exactly and with that sort of power it still doesn´t compare to the M3. I read in Evo that the M3 outsold the C32 AMG by 10 to 1 and bet this is not going to do much to change that.

There will be NO v8 M3 next year. The 3 Series (and upcoming 4) isn't schedule for a complete redesign until the 2006 Model Year. Which means at the very earliest you'll see the new model is late next year, maybe summer.

The M3 won't debut for at least another year. So you are looking at 2007 MY or maybe even 2008 MY. Given that they might have to design a new M motor for the car, I would look at a latter date rather than a earlier one. (Although they might just shoehorn the M5's old 400bhp engine into there.)

As far as the C55 is concern, stick with a gearbox that you could shift yourself.

get the C32, it has better power to weight ratio. and you can find one for a steal these days.

well the thing i like about the new c55 is the nose change that they made to accomidate the 5.5.

as far as the c32 is concerned, mb didnt put anything in the advertising of the car, what ever it sold was due to rep... it has more power than the m3 and also more weight btu its still faster also has four doers and a auto trans which ultimatly isnt what the age group has ever looked for. the smg is still more fun than the mb trans.

where i live i have 6 friends with m3s and i mean mean ass m3s, 2 with ac packages, i with hre and a blower... i mean theyre crazy... so for me to get one and keep it stock as an everyday thing would be a waist of an awsome car

I don't know your background. But I doubt that most drivers could deliver the full potential of a 333hp M3 on the track.

not that i can deliver the power on the track or not but to only drive it on the freeways of southern cali is a waist, again.
