Good show for Trulli! He was always good around at Monaco - P2 in 2000 in a Jordan for chrissakes!.

I hope he can take the win - he deserves it. He might need it to guarantee his seat for next year.

Last year at Indy 2003, Iwas a witness to his driving skill - I was watching the free practice session from the last but one corner before the the long run run up the straight (see directly opposite the VIP suites at the top of the picture) - he got on the power well before anyone else - he accelerated at the apex while the others seemed to do so about 5 -10 metres later. Superb!

man guys look at that grid! BAR and renault took the top 3! Ferrari did good ... nothing special there , but the first Mclaren and Williams were 5th and 9th respectively. really good to see some of the lesser teams coming up! its exciting to see the underdogs do well!

Hey Jabba, i think you made a mistake in the grid, i noticed after looking through it you didnt have Ralf in there! hes number 2, but other than that they are right, and everyone is just kicked down a spot..... oh ralf ran a 1:14.345 also....

Well be interesting race, as everyone knows its extreme;y hard to overtake at Monaco(ie: DC couldnt take a Arrows when his car was 4secs a lap faster) so if Schumie did win it make it all the more sweeter. That said if he doesnt win I hope Trulli has the pace to win :)

@ FakePower,

Ralf Schmacher screwed up during the 1st free practice run on Thursday.
They had to change the engine of his car afterwards. So within the current regulations this means that the driver is automatically put 10 positions lower on the startinggrid than he would have been entitled to with his qualification time.

Passing for positions will be done in the pits.
GP of Spain a fortnight ago:
> qualification
Rubens was destroyed by Michael (1,250 sec. slower)
Both Saubers (the Scuderia Ferrari B team) qualified poorly inspite of quick pre-qualication times
> race
Rubens and both Saubers were the only cars in the field which pitted twice instead of 3 like the rest of the field did.
Endresult: a 1-2 for Ferrari and both Saubers within the top 9 and in front of the McLaren's.
So now this strategy proved to be effective Schoey follows suit in Monaco.
And I guess that Pebbles does the same as Ralf outqualified him with almost 0.7 of a second.
Prediction: 1) Button - 2) Schumacher - 3) Trulli
