I got a new job! Woot!

Normally I wouldnt make a thread about getting a job but this particular job I figured some of you would be interested in. If any of you saw my thread a few weeks ago with all the vintage Ferraris and some other nice cars, thats where I am gonna start working. I going to be doing basic parts sales/inventory but also im gonna be responsible for taking photo journals of restorations for the customer in the beginning. Once I get settled there im gonna try and do some DVDs for them since I have a good understanding of After Effects, Maya, 3d Studio Max, etc. But im just gonna take one day at a time and try and incorporate more and more stuff to do because I would really like to learn the restoration techniques as well.

@Al - you can be assured that I will take my camera there everyday. :D

Thats awesome, It reminds me of a place near here, Legendary Motor car... I went to their showroom and its filled with mint Hemi Cudas, Roadrunners, Ferarris, Corvettes, etc. It would be my dream to own or work in a place like that. Surrounded in beautiful cars everyday of the year.

congrats on the new job.... a while back i worked in a motorcycle shop... and that is part of what got me hooked on performance, and i learned a lot, concidering i was only 15 at the time :) enjoy, have a gr8 first day!

Congrats man!! I was hoping you'd get the job. Your previous post about that place with all the hi-res pictures was fabulous. I'd really like to see more of that kind... Classic Ferraris rule! :D Wish I had a job like that when I was in university. :P

Thanks for the comments guys! Sorry it took me so long to respond but I started yesterday and had class right after it so I was pretty busy. They have a shitload of pics of all the cars already on the comp and I already asked if I could put them on a cd and they said yes so ill do that tomorrow and upload a few pics everyday as well as what I photo.

There are some really rare and expensive cars there. There are 2 Ferraris from the 1960s both styled by Bertone and are both one-of-a-kind as well as a whole bunch of other cars. Tomorrow I should have a few pics and info to upload for you guys. :D

I asked a few people over there and they seemed not to mind about taking photos of the cars and telling people what kind of cars were there as long as I dont mention who the owners are LOL. Which is fine with me, ill just blur out all license plate numbers, etc.

Different cars come and go everyday so ill try and catch a pic of all of them. I overheard someone saying that a F40 LM might be commin in on monday, so im crossing my fingers for that, cause not only will I see, but I will hear it.

I had a summer job at the only Ferrari store in my country... I only was there for a week, but after that week, with very little work to be done, me and my friend was actually tired of checking out new details on the 360 all the time... I only wished I could've droven it myself... All we got was a 10 minute ride in it, in 230 kph on the freeway where the speed limit is 70 kph

Wow man! you are seriously a lucky man to be able to get a job working with cars like that all day! .... i sweep floors in a power plant for a summer job ..... Dream job is about the best way to put it! beautiful cars also =)
