There is probably is limited interest in this, but being an E34 M5 guy, this is actually quite spectacular. Main concerns with pressurizing an M5 is the the fact that the OEM compression ratio is already high. The E34 M5 is already considered at the ragged edge, with the gurus at the M factory really pushing the edge of the envelope to squeeze as much power out of the motor as reasonably possible - while still maintaining reliability and longevity. Aside from that, given that a new crate motor sets you back over $10k and a rebuilt one is still about $8-10k, it makes trial and error quite expensive. Rumors float around the internet about people having boosted an S38 motor, but one has finally been documented with photographs. This was just released earlier today. It will be interesting to see how the motor stands up over time, but given the low mileage, it should be good for at least a little while:

Already that a BMW E34 M5 stock is nice, when is supercharged this is again better. :D I'm not surprised about the prices of the modifications, this E34 M5 cost a lot to maintain, but this is not a problem when you are fanatic of this car.

The pictures that I prefer is this one, it's a Avus M5 Euro + there is a SR-71 Blackbird in background. :D

Awesome. Not a fan of the color. But i really like color
Schwalbe JG 44 posted on that M5. always loved this style.
Maybe even more then the E39 M5 :!: I have never been in
an M5 version, but my dad has owned an E34 535i. The
car was fantastic, reliabilty apart. I've never been in a car
that feels so solid and connected to the road. It was blue
with an automatic gearbox and cloth interior. Exact same
color as this small picture.

This Mauritius Blue would be my choice..

I have seen this car in person, definetly a ROCKED OUT job they did.

I am still a fan of the M5s over the M3s. The E28 was brilliant, the E34 subtle, and the E39 sublime. Makes me wish I had kept mine ('00 E39).

My mistake, I thought this was another car. There is another local E34 M5 with an S/C that is blue. Perhaps this car was previously int he bay area around here?

Great car, in my family we ve got three E34s,this might sound crazy but we love the car. My father has a 3.6 m5, a modified 532 which has a us spec e36 m3 engine and my brother recently purchased a white 3.6 m5. I dont know whether i am biassed but this 5 series has the best looks among all the 5 series generations. :P
