Its near Woking in Surrey (UK). All the Mclaren employees will be located here. The Mclaren F1 racing cars and SLR road cars will made here

it sure looks pretty, but if all that are only for F1 i think its waste of money :roll: but if they are doing something else than, it will be awesome :lol:

i agree, and as skituner said i hope they make their own cr, not a merc mixed mc laren, it would b awsome it they made a F2 :D

Maybe they should concentrate more on their racing programs instead of making fancy "Technology Centers".

Yeah, it's call Paragon and cost something like 300 Millions € . I just hope that now that it's finished they will focus on racing again :?

if looks could kill, mclaren would be champions and ferrari would be a tail ender. Lets hope they put all their money to good use. Its pointless to have a state of the art center without some brains behind it. Mclaren definitely have the money, the skills and talent needed to win the championship again. It just cant happen soon enough.

That facility looks awesome, i only hope that the place will b able to take Mclaren back to be a competitive team again. ALso can't wait to c new baby Mclaren aimed at Gallardo and 360 modena

It's been open for a fair old while....

If you watched ITV's coverage of the race last weekend their "meet the team" was McLaren and they had a tour around it.

They do produce the SLR their (apart from the engines) as well as the F1 cars. I personally dont think its a waste of money, it goes perfectly with the McLaren and Ron Dennis' ethos. Its not as if they're spending their R&D money on it and which team has been the closest to ferrari this year, in the latter half of the season anyway, and if it wasnt for MB's engine failures they could well be a lot further up the table
