SOME OFF-TOPIC ONLINE GAMING

Not sure if any of you play of have a great board game we have here called "Monopoly"....

I have one of the early versions of it and much prefer it to all the recent releases with their flashy graphics etc...anyway if anyone is interested it might be a good online game to have here as it multi-tasks nicely and doesnt use up many system resources...it also allows for online chatting....

if it is popular we could hold tournamnets with small prizes for the winner etc....let me know what you think...and if you wanna give it a go...download from here...and lets see if we can get a six player game going...

Dang, I'm interested, but the main problem is my poor PC, very unstable lately..
Second problem I just realized beeing there, in the next weeks, I'll still be online most of the time, but not for long periods of time... maybe I'll be here 200 times, from 0 to 23.59, but just for some minutes and then aways, so I doubt I'll have long periods available for online playing...

ahhh OK TT....well its just an experiment for now anyway....I only have the UK version so the street names will be a bit strange...where as the US version has US street names I think and the same for Canada...but I dont know where I can get those versions from right now....

It's easy dude, buy property, add houses or hotels, people land on it and pay you money. you win when everyone else goes bankrupt.

I tried "jabba" for the password and it worked. Then, I can't open it coz the file extension is .cdi. Any idea how to run it?

very good work to find the password so quickly....burning it should be no problem for you now....you need a program like disc juggler that burns CDI files...I will upload it shortly for everyone that doesnt have access it...

Thanks for the link...but I am not a big fan of this version...as it has crashed on me many times right in the middle of a game....the version I have uploaded is easy for me to control as it doesnt require any outside servers...and connects directly to the players playing.....therefore that will be the offical version here...and the one where you can play for the $20 first prize (per tournament)

ahhhh shit.....how on earth do you get by without one.....the program checks for the CD for security....I know there is a way around this with DAMON TOOLS but I will have to investigate further for you...

I burned it with Nero.. But windows cant read the disc..
I have never seen an error in win. like this..

yeh it defently works...but it is fussy about which CD-ROM drive you use...if you have more than one on your system....

damn.. Installed and patched succesfully.. but whenever I want to burn the cdi program always crashed and terminates it self...

Ok.. Solved the problem.. Installed and restarting windows..
For those who downloaded the image file.. If you will use Jabbas recording program.. Do not directly double click the cdi file or do not drag the file on the destination.. Write manually the destination then start the process..If you dont program will terminate itself..

finally done.. Solved with changing the drive as you said.. (game is I think 17th centuries game ehehe)

Finally.. We played with Jabba.. There is nothing different with the real board game.. Only one difference It will be so much fun with multiple players..

For those who dont know how to burn and install.. (it gave some problems)
1)Download the Zip file.. and the Jabbas burning program..
2)Extract the Zip File..
3)Install the burning program and crack it..
4)Open the program.. Choose the burn image to cd section..
5)At the coming screen ***manually*** write the destination of file..
6)After the finalising the burning restart windows..
7)Game wants cd (if you put the cd in cdrom) if its still needs cd.. put it in the writer..
8)Play the game.. (disablein the sounds and animations are run the game faster)
