We need a "Moron at the wheel" sensor built into cars sold in the US - if the driver is the left most lane and is moving at a speed 10 mph slower than the speed limit for more than 20 seconds - the car needs to open up the sunroof and hit the ejector seat (a la 007) and kick the slow poke outta there.

guyd you don't leave in greece...here we have people middle adge mostly that have just bought a new car(preferbly mercedes if they can afford it)and they go in the left line(here the steer is at the left side)at maximum 80km/h....how about that???or there are others who have little 1300cc engines and they think that they rule and at the highway they stuck at your back at speeds around 140km/h :shock:

I think the crucial thing to do is to build cars that run off of Moonshine... Think about it, that stuff burns clean and is renewable. Plus it would make tons more horsepower, you just need a lot bigger cooling system in ur car. Then you wouldnt need to worry about fuel economy so much because gas would be cheap and not polute...

reductions in frictional losses, and improvements in fuel efficiancy seems to be on my list of technical accompleshments, and goals.... not to mention, lowering the rotational mass.... or at least finding an equilibrium between lowerd rotational mass and stability of the engine....

i thought volvo's ? variable compression ratio trick was interesting
